There have been reports of Street Teams, if you will, showing passers by the unique features of the Google maps on their mobile phones in public transportation areas all across the US. One of the interesting things that the information provides is what time the next bus, train, tram, subway or rail car will be coming by your stop. You can even get a calculated time of arrival. Now that Google has released part of its plans for the DoubleClick purchase ( Official Google Blog: We've officially acquired DoubleClick ) from back in March, the sighs of relief from publishers can be heard through out Googleland. I have been building web sites now for over 5 years and have never spent a dime on pay per click type ads. In the early days we could not afford it, so I learned how to build web sites that have interesting content, good navigation and proper structure. There was a potential client who asked us recently if we have any examples of our REACH. My reply was, well not really, outside our statistics service that is.
