Keyword

Sat, 02/23/2008 - 16:55

An index term or descriptor in Information Retrieval is a term that captures the essence of the topic of a document. It is used as keyword to retrieve documents in an information system, for instance a catalog or a search engine. A popular form of keywords on the web are tags which are directly visible and can be assigned by non-experts also. Index terms can consist of a word, phrase, or alphanumerical term. They are created by analyzing the document either manually with subject indexing or automatically with automatic indexing or more sophisticated methods of keyword extraction.
You do not have to be a big business to look like one on line. Businesses now thrive on web site traffic to display current business information, services and products.

Be always mindful of your competition, because you can be sure they are being mindful of you. " - -

Service

In economics and marketing, a service is the non-material equivalent of a good. Service provision has been defined as an economic activity that does not result in ownership, and this is what differentiates it from providing physical goods. It is claimed to be a process that creates benefits by facilitating either a change in customers, a change in their physical possessions, or a change in their intangible assets.
